Kaduna State University consolidating on Community Engagement with Association of Qura’nic Memorizers and Traditional Islamic Schools of Nigeria.

Improving community engagement is one of the strategies of Kaduna State University. It is in this direction that the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Ibrahim Musa granted an audience to the Association of Qur'anic Memorisers on the 27th of November, 2023 in his office. 

Chairman of the Association,  Gwani Suleiman Idris Mai Zube condoled with the Vice-Chancellor over the demise of the late Prof. Ezzeldin Abdurahman, a former Vice-Chancellor of KASU. He was also congratulated on his appointment as Head of the University over a year ago. Mai Zube requested an avenue that will allow its members to participate in programs designed by the institution to meet up with the present reality of Life.   

In his remarks, Prof. Musa expressed excitement to the Association stating that the importance of the Qur'an cannot be underscored. He added the University is ready to partner with the Association. 

To this end, the Vice-Chancellor directed the Director of the Institute of Education, Prof. Mu'azu Rabi'u to liaise with the association and come up with a viable program for partnership in that regard.

Contributing, the Registrar,  Barr. Samira Balarabe reiterated the value worth of certificates from government-owned institutions.
