KASU Management proposes a partnership with KASTLEA on Safety

Management of Kaduna State University paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Authority  (KASTLEA) on Tuesday, 5th September 2023 seeking partnership in areas of proactive safety and security measures

The Vice-Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa commended KASTLEA for the effort in preventing road mishaps, ensuring the protection of lives and adhering to traffic rules and regulations in Kaduna State.

He said that KASU is interested in establishing a relationship with KASTLEA because without a partnership the lofty visions of the university won't be realised.

The VC pointed out that the KASU of the next decade is focused on problem-solving and concentrating on developing a curriculum that caters for the needs of society like software to catalogue vehicle owners, and how best to communicate with the public on modern traffic rules and regulations.

Prof. Musa informed the Corp Marshal/CEO and her team of Management's aspiration to reposition the university to a world-class standard with emphasis on teaching excellence, research and community service.

Responding, the Corp Marshal/CEO of KASTLEA, Carla Abdulmalik welcomed the Management of KASU and stated that she and her team are willing partners. She said safety is a collective responsibility and will offer support for the protection of lives and property.
