Kaduna State University set to collaborate with Louisiana State University

All machinery has been put in place for Kaduna State University to collaborate with Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA in the United States of America. 

The high-profile meeting took place in the Vice-Chancellor's office on Tuesday, 30th May 2023 between KASU Management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.  Abdullahi I. Musa and a representative of Louisiana State University, Aisha Ali-Gombe who is an Associate Professor. 

The meeting centred on areas that will mutually benefit both Universities such as Research, Mentoring Sessions on Grant Writing, Cyber Security and forensic Science. 

The Vice-Chancellor spoke passionately about the need for local and international collaborations which is the practice among renowned universities globally. 

He remarked that KASU is aspiring to be a world-class university that will serve humanity and as such talents have been identified to champion that dream. 

In her remarks, Prof.  Ali-Gombe reiterated Louisiana State University's commitment to achieving the set goals and objectives discussed. 

The meeting was attended by the Registrar, Samira Balarabe, Esq,  Provost, College of Social and Management Sciences, Prof. Yushau Ango, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof.  Helen A. Andow, SA to VC, Digital Transformation and Disruptive Technology and the University's Public Relations Officer, Adamu N. Bargo.
