Management Harps on Partnership with Security Agencies, Visits DSS

The Management of Kaduna State University has sued for partnership with security agencies in the State, seeking in the areas of technology transfer, sharing of knowledge and intelligence. 

Speaking on Monday, 21st August 2023 in the office of the Director, Department of State Security Service, Kaduna State Command, Mr Abdul Eneche, FSI, the Vice-Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa stated that the DSS has strategic importance in the nation, hence, the need to partner to secure lives and property and to maintain the peace enjoyed in the various campuses of the university and surrounding communities. 

Responding, the Director of Kaduna State Command, Mr Abdul Eneche, FSI congratulated the new Management of KASU and stated that the need to partner cannot be overemphasised which will bring about stability and progress.

KASU Bolsters Partnership with NBTE

Kaduna State University is taking steps to enhance its partnership with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and prioritize talent development by considering the integration of skills into its university curriculum. 
Discussions between KASU and NBTE were held on Monday, 21st August 2023 to discuss the potential implementation of this initiative. The Vice-Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa stated this while on a courtesy call with members of the University Management to the Executive Secretary of NBTE, Prof. Idris Bugaje.

KASU Strengthens Cooperations with KADVS on Security

The Management of Kaduna State University paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) on Monday, 21st August 2023 seeking support in areas of foresighted security measures and intelligence.The Vice-Chancellor of KASU, Prof. Abdullahi I. Musa commended KADVS for the effort in preventing the breakdown of law and order and ensuring the protection of lives and property in KASU and Kaduna State in general. He said that the university was interested in sustaining the existing working relationship because without adequate security, an administration won't run successfully.
Responding, the Commander of KADVS, Brig. Gen UM Ibrahim welcomed the Management of KASU and stated that he and his team are willing partners to consolidate the existing cordial relationship.
