VC-KASU stresses the importance of information technology in higher institutions.

Vice-Chancellor, Kaduna State University (KASU) Prof. Abdullahi I Musa has reiterated the need for learning environments such as higher institutions to go digital, as it is now the norm in the 21st century.

He mentioned this during an interview session with the media team from the Department of Mass  Communication in his office shortly after matriculating the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 undergraduate and postgraduate students of the university on 11th April, 2023 at the school's main campus.

"No institution , no individual will survive the 21st century without getting to know information technology. Being digital is just the norm in the 21st century."

Prof. Musa therefore urged the newly admitted students to take advantage of the university's conducive learning environment, which happens to be one of the best in the African continent.

He also mentioned how the newly admitted students will meet a "changing KASU" that is endowed with talents, where students are taught critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills and are transformed into valued members of the community.
